CNA lack of humanitarian skills, long term patients are left alone with a tray of food left all day on the table thinking that patients are able to feed themselves…patients do not recuperate normally because they are not taken care properly…
It''s a fine place for people to reside at for cares. For this area of Minneapolis; it''s pretty darn safe! Also; the therapy is Great! If you need to reside here long term...,meals are Great! There''s a smoking patio outside that''s not common at other places.
Loving area.
I don''t even know how it has 2.1 stars. Gross and smells like cigarettes everwhere. Used tissues in the elevator and cracks out of the tiles. I don''t even know how it has 2.1 stars. Gross and smells like cigarettes everwhere. Used tissues in the elevator and cracks out of the tiles. I''m really sad that people have to live in these conditions. When I got there to visit my loved one I told them their name and the nurses looked at me like I was crazy. Need to code for every door, which led my sister to get locked in the stairway and had a nurse yelling at her. I heard yelling the whole time, not just residents, but staff. Didn''t tell my loved one what medications they were giving him when he asked.

Please, PLEASE. If you have even a tenth of an ounce of respect for dignity and general human life, do NOT allow loved ones to be sent here. Do anything in your power. Never in my life have I seen worse living conditions in a skilled nursing facility. See lots of call lights going off and think nursing staff are just really busy with patient care and that’s why they’re taking an extended amount of time to tend to your loved one? Just take a look behind the CLOSED door behind the nurses station. There, you’ll find quite possibly the floor’s entire nursing staff snacking and talking. They don’t appear to even be on break either (I think they actually go on there break somewhere else or in a break room). They’re fully aware of the call lights going off. They just don’t care and quite literally only show up to work for the paycheck. This place is terribly run. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is therapy. They actually seem to show respect, dignity, and honest care for residents there. They used to have one therapist there that was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond, often picking up nursing staff’s slack on top of her own duties (at least I can say this for sure with my loved one). I’m not sure what happened or where she went, but it’s a shame they let her go and couldn’t convince her to stay. Regardless, I’m sure she is somewhere better now. The current therapy staff (especially the speech therapist and the lady from occupational therapy) continue to bust their butt and clearly strive for the best possible patient care. I am satisfied with the care my loved one has received from them.
