Awful. I had my gallbladder removed at this hospital. Dr. and nurses were all great. My problem was after the surgery I was sent out the side door of a holding room and had to walk to my car. The nurse who released me was awful nasty. She told me sign here and there is the door. Never again. Sorry I was a burden to you all. It is now 2022 and my husband passed away in this hospital. He walked in for what we were told was a procedure to help him live longer and the next morning he was gone. I could not even show his body, he was so swollen. Stay away from this place, he trusted these doctor''s, just a number, just a statistic to them. My husband was only 61. He should not of passed away. He surely should not of been so swollen. No one cared.

I wish I can give zero to this hospital. I just gave birth there. Postpartum care ( after labor) is horrible simply you have to speak up to get the minimum expected. My baby lost 10% of his weight first day in the nursery. I had to ask for all my medication even stool softener. They simply do their stupid checklist and prefer to kick you out of the hospital ASAP. I was sent home in less than 30 hrs. They ignored my leg swelling, my baby weight loss, and my back pain. They simply don’t want me there. I don’t mind paying more money but to receive good treatment, especially during this critical time.

Absolutely horrible hospital. My grandmother was here in surgery ICU and they completely failed her and caused her death. Lack of communication, too many hands in the pot and nobody knows what''s going on, no follow-through, and disregarding standard procedures. It took us almost 6 months to get an answer to a question on what antibiotic she was on and when it was started. They let her die. Don''t ever bring your family members here, and if they do have to or you stay by their side the entire time. I watched one nurse mocking my four grandmother who had a breathing mask on her face because she couldn''t understand what she was saying. It took everything in me to not take her out.

A few years ago my husband had open heart surgery at Toledo Hospital. About 16 hours after surgery he suffered a stroke. To make a long story short..it was caused because the ceratoid test he had done the week before was not looked at before surgery and his right ceratoid was totally blocked. After surgery the norm is to keep blood pressure low but in my husbands case his body made another path up his cheek and was protected because of his high blood pressure. Obviously, because they did not check the test it was lowered and my husband suffered the stroke. He is not the same he has memory loss, he drags his left foot and has very painful naprapathy. The surgeons only "word" was he was "remorseful". As always you sign forms which covers everyone but the patient. I recently had surgery at Premedica Flower hospital my experience was not very good. The surgeon was great but my experience in pre-op and anesthesia was not. it was very different from the other surgery I had at another hospital. When I got home the front of my top left tooth fell off. It could not be saved so I have to get a crown or go toothless. I called the patient advocate she passed me to the surgical manager and she passed me to someone in the anesthesia department. Their answer was I signed a form and losing a tooth was a known thing! The only form I remember signing is that I agreed to having anesthesia. I did not have any idea I would lose a tooth! I just wonder how these people can be accountable for their mistakes? If there is no accountability who is safe? They can do anything they want and there is no accountability. We ask our children to be responsible but don''t expect it to apply to ourselves. Very sad times. Life is hard enough. When does the arrogance stop. You can see someone gave me a number to call and follow up on this review. I left 3 messages and they did not call me back. This is over 3 days. This is another example of their arrogance.
