So sad to see the decline that has happened at this facility. My mother was released from rehab today at Tuscany and it was the worst healthcare experience we have ever experienced as a family. From day 1 we realized it was not the same caliber facility it had been 12 years before when my mother had a stroke. We were required to wear a mask to enter but the staff was not wearing a mask during Mom’s entire stay even though there was a case of Covid at the facility. The communication with the nursing staff was almost nonexistent, we had to request information about every treatment. The food was the most bland and poorly prepared we had ever seen. We brought in all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The upkeep of my mother’s room was inexcusable, in 2 weeks I cleaned my mother’s floor twice in the mornings when I brought breakfast. Spilled coffee and hot chocolate allowed to dry on the floor and caked on her socks and not cleaned up even though the staff was aware. The bathroom had to be cleaned by family members when there were accidents, or the bathroom stayed soiled for hours. A very disappointing issue was on Saturday we requested a different room because the smokers would smoke on the patio outside her room and the smoke would come in her windows. We were told we would have to wait until Monday and when we asked to move the smokers we were told “smokers have rights too”. The smokers were residents and EMPLOYEES! When the employees smoked they came in and without washing hands or spraying Febreze would go directly to residents smelling of smoke. Heard several residents complain of the smoke smell. DO NOT LET YOUR FAMILY SUFFER THIS TREATMENT. This is the worst experience our family has ever been through with a healthcare facility.

Fantastic therapy, loved it!

I can’t say enough about this facility. From the nursing staff to the therapists and the aides- everyone has been wonderful. You can tell the staff really cares about their patients. After being here I wouldn’t consider another place for anyone I loved

My Dad went to Tuscany Gardens when discharged from the hospital. The care and compassion they showed to my Dad, I am forever grateful for. They could not do enough for him and tended to his every need. I am grateful to the rehab unit staff that truly made a difference in his last days.
