My dad was just transferred here for rehab. So far, the staff here is amiable and helpful. The place is clean.
We often get called here to do power-of-attorney and trust documents for residents, and it is always a pleasurable experience. They have one of the best and most well mannered staff of any facility in Westchester.

I went to United Hebrew for rehab after breaking my leg. When I first got there I couldn’t stand or walk or do much of anything. I got OT and PT pretty much every day. The staff there is incredible and caring and hard working and after a little more than 5 weeks I was up and walking with a walker. Everybody there was so supportive and helpful and I am truly grateful for all of their help!! Big shout out to the 4th floor staff who were AMAZING!! They kept my spirits up and made a difficult time pleasant. United Hebrew is a wonderful place and the rehab was outstanding!! I highly recommend them!!

My mom, Natalie Haas lived on 3rd floor Skalet Pavilion for over 3 years. I cannot begin to say more about the care, friendship, love and support that my mom and my family received during this time. My mom made so many friends and truly loved the nurses, doctors, recreation heroes, the staff that made sure her room was clean and fresh and the all the other support staff that visited her regularly. Natalie participated in all the activities. She looked forward to the weekly games of Pokeno and Bingo. She loved listening to the wide variety of music programs held multiple times during the week. She designed wonderful works of art during the Art Therapy Programs. She helped plant the gardens. She loved her “food” and all the wonderful people from the dietary department. I know how much her friends will miss her, especially Nancy and Pearl. Her final days of her life came very abruptly to an end. I am glad she didn’t suffer but I was out of the country at the time. How do I ever begin to thank the 3rd floor nurses (Joan, Ronnie, Norma, Angelica...) , Sharise Washington- her Registered Nurse Practitioner who became my true friend as well as her medical provider, Dr Tio- who guided me through her medical care this last year, Carrie Deppong- United Hebrew''s recreation director who''s enthusiasm and love for life is contagious, Delma Sansone- her social worker who zoomed her funeral ceremony for her friends who could not attend and the entire staff that kept in touch with me and got me through one of the most difficult times in my life? Thank you Tarin Metz and George Moffa who greeted me every time I walked in the front door with a smile and always showed respect for the residents and my family members that visited her. Please show this letter to all her family at United Hebrew. Let them know that their hard work and care matters. Let them know how they are appreciated. Thank you all.

I am rating the Subacute Rehab Unit. At first the size of the unit and the long corridors put me off, but I soon realized that they were important tools for rehab. Within a few days my Significant Other (SO) was propelling himself to and from the dining room and being carefully walked to the PT and OT gyms. The gyms are in alcoves on the unit, so there is a lot of upbeat activity and resident traffic in the corridors. The food did not look very appealing to me, but my "patient" liked it and gained weight. He enjoyed meeting other residents in the dining room and was sad when some of them were discharged. The staff was uniformly friendly, skilled and supportive. The rehab program for my SO was well planned, geared realistically to post-discharge function. The nursing staff supported the rehab goals by encouraging the residents to do as much as they could for themselves. My SO was able to emerge stronger and without the Foley catheter that had been in place for 3 months. A special shout out to Social Worker Meghan, who goes the extra mile, Eva, the Unit Coordinator who is a natural therapist and Susama (Sam) who provided such good care for my SO when he was weakest, most symptomatic and possibly most irritating. I subtracted 1 star for an issue that afflicts all rehabs that I have seen: too long a wait for the call bells to be answered.
