The staff is wonderful from the beginning process of admissions with Josh, the receptionist are always warm and friendly. We love the NA Sonia who has been so wonderful to help my mom get through every day. We dont know what we would do without her. She has been essential to mom''s care. The nurses always call me with important updates about my mom when i cant be there. Mom really enjoys the interaction with PT, OT and ST. I am very thankful for Tonya the SOP for always checking in and being very helpful. Yes and dont let me forget Sharon who transports patients to appointments, she is so friendly and compassionate always. I would recommend Universal Healthcare to anyone..

I am only giving this facility a 1 because I cannot give it a zero. My loved one was at this facility from July to November. The communication was a zero. My father had stage 4 bed sores, was constantly dehydrated and ended up in the hospital multiple times with infections due to dehydration. My loved one fell because was left unattended and was a known faller because the nurse had to go use the bathroom, fine, get an aide to come for 5 minutes!. Some of the aides would refuse to bathe my loved one. When the visiting pediatrist was to come, I asked for my loved one to be put on the list, and was skipped. I had to take off my loved ones socks and shoes and refuse to put them back on until their feet were done. Some of the toe nails were so long they were completely bent backwards. We gave up on providing clothing as they were lost. We insisted on doing the laundry ourselves. Shoes were lost so we didn''t replace. This facility had to replace them. Food was abhorrent at times. 2 positives: Occupational/Speech was fantastic, very caring, and PT was also good. Front desk gals are severely over worked and seemed to care more than anyone of the "medical" staff. Other residence were afraid to complain as they would be abused by neglect. Some of them had wet sheets and when family would complain, the resident was left with no sheets for a couple of days. There is NO heart of compassion here. DO NOT put your loved one here.

My grandmother just passed away last Friday. Her last days were spent in this home. Please find another home for your loved ones. She was very neglected. The staff hardly ever checked on her and the food is absolute garbage. If you notice in the reviews it is directors commenting and giving themselves five stars, very far from five stars if I could give negative ten stars I would. She had old drinks and food left in her fridge for two weeks. Please don''t put your loved ones in this home!!
