This is an awful place to put anyone you love at. They won''t let you talk to your love one ever. If you call it will ring till it stops or they pick it up and put right back down. I''ve got him one time on the phone in 6 months. I''ve left messages with his social worker and most of those he never gets. When he went in he was a non smoker and walked with assistance. Now he smokes half a pack plus more a day and in a wheel chair. He isnt even kept clean anymore. They take his social security check even though he has 2 insurance companies paying his bills. If you have a love one then don''t put them at university place. I''m considering suing them. Especially Mrs Miller the social worker.

DO NOT send your loved ones here!!!! There were live MAGGOTS found in a woman''s heel that the staff did nothing about! Read the news! That poor woman had to suffer at the hands of negligent staff, how do you people sleep at night?
I visited my mother face to face in her last nursing home a month ago before They moved her here. When I ask how that could happen they said it is because they are owned by different companies. This has nothing to do with the CDC folks

My aunt has been at this facility over a year now. I am so grateful for every staff person that has been a part of her care. Especially, with COVID, it has been difficult not only for us family, but can you imagine that staff that have to face this virus everyday? This facility has gone beyond my expectations in navigating some challenges no one would have ever foreseen. Blessings to University Place!

My father is a resident there. They can''t seem to consistently get his dietary restrictions correct and bring incorrect meals repeatedly. They have neglected to provide the physical therapy treatments he''s been prescribed. One glimpse on their service..nothing on their website about Covid visitation protocols, so after you drive there you get turned away because you don''t have an appointment. Lesson learned, I called to set an appointment and had to leave a message with the activities department. Second day running with no call back. My father also missed viewing not one, but TWO, of his grand children''s graduations because no one helped him get laptop connected to WiFi after asking repeatedly for weeks leading up to the graduations. Oh, and he fell, and family was not notified of his injuries. I could go on, but just don''t know what else to say. A transfer to another facility was arranged last fall, and somehow the details still haven''t been finalized. The word negligence comes to mind. Reviews are bad for a reason. If you have a loved one there, best get used to the headaches and plan to be there constantly to look out for their best interests.
