My brother will be moving into Villa Northwest Assisted Living. It's a very homey place and friendly. As much as we can see, it always seems very clean. The staff was very knowledgeable, and friendly, and assisted us as far as getting us around. It's a very nice place. We know it's old, but they've kept it up to date. They have a little microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and a little cabinet. It looked like a little kitchen, but they didn't have a big stove and all that stuff. The outdoor area was like a street between the two buildings. The residents can walk all around. There was a nice, long porch in the front.

We're interested in Villa Northwest Assisted Living because it's a very small place but the people there love their patients. The patients look healthy, they're moving around and they have their freedom, but they're also being kept in close eye contact. I met the deputy director, she was super nice and felt like family. I feel like they're the perfect place for my mom. It's a very good facility, just from the outside looking in and just from the tour. You could see everybody interacting, so it's definitely where I want her. It's not the fanciest place but it's well-kept.

Villa Northwest Assisted Living was nice, clean, and up-to-date. It was a nice facility. They were very informative and took the time to show me around their facility. I saw their salon and their nurse's office during my visit. They were also in the middle of a remodel but the place seems very clean. The location is good because it's close to our family.
Read moreVilla Northwest Assisted Living was very old and in pretty bad condition, but they were in the process of renovating. The staff were wonderful. They were great, very knowledgeable, and helped me a lot with some of the questions that I had. They only had a central room or a meeting room.

Villa Northwest Assisted Living was extremely clean, and it smelled wonderful. The two ladies that helped us were very friendly. The passing people in the hall were friendly. They spoke, and they welcomed us. It's a very small place, which we liked. We only looked at the private apartments, which had a bathroom and a little kitchen area. It's all one big room except for the bathroom. The bathroom is a separate room. They had semi-private rooms as well. We didn't see any activities during the tour. They were finishing up lunch when we got there. There were just a couple of people left in the dining area finishing their lunch. We saw up on a wall a big poster of the month's activities. We did get to peek in at the beauty salon and somebody comes in once a week. There was a library. It's set up like buildings, and the building that we looked at was just the private rooms. There were only 32 rooms in that building. It doesn't have a courtyard, but it had a really big porch with rocking chairs and things that you could go out on. They provide three meals a day and they have the option of whatever they're having at lunch or supper. If they didn't like it, they could pick from this other little shorter menu like soup, sandwich, a hotdog, or a hamburger. They had a few little extra.

My mom lives in the Villa Northwest Assisted Living. The people who work there know every single resident by name; they know all about them. In most places, the facilities are just so large that she wouldn't get the special treatment that she needs, but here, they give her personalized treatment. The size of the room itself is very, very nice. We were able to arrange her furniture so there's no clutter. She has her own things from home, and there's still plenty of room to walk around. It's not a fancy place at all, but it's very, very adequate. The food is good. My mom likes it. They have bingo, exercise classes, and a beauty shop where they can get their hair and nails done. They have a calendar of activities that includes a Red Hat club for the ladies. (I noticed them meeting in the afternoons.) They also have a nice game area and entertainment on Tuesday nights; a pianist comes in and plays.
