My aunty was transported to Villa Rosa after back surgery and the service was subpar. They didn''t have her transport docs, therefore, they didn''t know her medication instructions so she was in constant pain; Villa Rosa had poor bedding and definitely not conducive to her healing and the nutrition (yuk) was not adequate. Overall, the facility has major work to do when it comes to recieving and taking care of patients. Villa Rosa is not the desired place. I gave it one star for the physical therapist who my aunty said was the only good service. We eventually had to transfer my aunty to Waugh Chapel.

My husband was one of many who needed emergency placement when his nursing home had an explosion and it will be closed about six months for construction. Villa Rosa opened a wing to 20 some people in the middle of the night. They have strict COVID rules with visitors being tested before coming in. The food looks good. They do the laundry. We are included in ''care'' meetings. The only thing that bothered us is spilled food not being cleaned off the floor for hours. Would I recommend you send your loved one here? Yes.

No updates on my mom. Limited supervised visiting hours, Mon -Fri 10A-4P for 20 min sounds like prison. I was told that they sent visiting hours to my home which is untrue. I found out from Daverly yesterday that the drive by for Mothers Day is booked and no on contacted me to schedule the event. Social worker Marie, who at least gave me updates, is no longer working there and Daverly is taking over which is unwise. I will contact the ombudsman and hopefully I can see my mom. 08/05/2023 Updates: This facility is finally got my mom a fan in her room. They are also trying to have a male staff member to give my mom a shower because they are consistantly understaffed. My mom does not want a male to give her a bath therefore she is filthy. The director refuses to call me so I will have to contact the state. At a time of so many illnesses she is left without a shower for weeks at time due to lack of female staff during night shift. I asked if they could give her a shower during the day when they have female staff. Isotu said she would work it out for Thursday but I should call the director for follow through. The director Daphne Johnson mailbox is full and she refuses to call me. I cannot even speak with Dr. Seay the staff sends you to a voicemail either full or no one returns your call. My mom legs are black due to lack of circulation and Alhassan states he did not get a report that my moms circulation was compromised, ummm just look at how black they are each week does not require a nursing license to see circulation is compromised.

My experience was positive. COVID protocols were followed meticulously. I found the staff to be caring and professional. I was contacted several times with updates on the care of my husband. A staff member called to find out preferences for his TV channels and favorite foods. The room assigned to my husband was clean and bright. Meals were appetizing. Visitation was easily arranged. The medical professionals at Villa Rosa have a difficult job which they handle well.
