It was Christmas time, so there was a lot of Christmas stuff.

Villas of Holly Brook-Effingham was really nice. They had a place like a little movie theater for the residents. They had a beauty salon. They had their PT, OT, and speech therapy all in the facility. The rooms are really, really big. They also have a bathroom. They can do a walk-in bathtub, where they shut it and then fill it up for the ones that were more leery about standing. A lot of the residents were doing puzzles and getting their hair done. They were doing different things out there.

When my family realized that mom could no longer stay by herself safely we began making appointments to tour assisted living facilities. Our first stop was Villas of Holly Brook in Effingham. Once there and after meeting the staff we knew we had found mom's new home.
I have worked for Meridian Senior Living for 3.5 years at the Villas of Holly Brook! I love how we care for our residents and our staff! This really is a place to live a #GreatLife!
