The Holiday Vineyard Place was really lovely. They were doing a lot of renovation out there, which I think they need to do because it looked a little aged. There's upholstery that's worn out and that kind of stuff, but they're doing an upgrade now. I particularly liked their dining room. It was on the top floor and had a beautiful view of the Willamette Valley. It was just lovely with big windows, and they're redoing that, too. The lady that was there was very nice and very friendly. They took me into a couple of the newly renovated units, and they were very nicely done. They had a courtyard at the back of the building. They had some meeting rooms on the main floor that had access to a courtyard at the back. Some units had sliding glass doors with small patios.

I am still not happy here but I decided to stay. It's easier to just stay in my room like l live in an apartment by myself. Even with eating and fixing my own meals and cleaning my own room. It's still cheaper to stay here for now. Can't believe the cost of things now and the cost of staying in these places. I don't know how long God will keep me here and I'm by myself. I would tell others don't believe everything you are told by the management. Ask some of the resident's instead.

The staff members are friendly and very helpful . Our mother has only been there a short time and we have no other experience to compare to so we cannot rate the care services. I am a pescatarian so I find the menu lacking...mother seems to be happy and that's what counts. When it comes to the activities, again mothers hasn't really moved in yet only staying a couple nights a week at this point..so she hasn't participated in any activities as yet. For the value we cannot rate it, sorry I don't have an answer...seems high price to me, but was less than other places, guess it depends on how much mother participates. If she feels safe that's very valuable...again time will tell. We love the view in the dining hall! I have already told others about Vineyard place and A Place for Mom..I think the service you provide is invaluable! I truly appreciate your help!!

I do not recommend this place. I would recommend it only if the person is 65 years old or older and has no significant trauma or problems with memory. I would say that the punitive system for dealing with problems is non-beneficial when it involves isolating people in their rooms for inappropriate behaviors. There are other avenues that are much more helpful.
