Great community! My grandparents lived there and were very happy.
I have lived here 8 yrs, and I love being here! Great management and great staff members! And the food is good too! The bus service that we have is very helpful to have. There is almost everything you need , right here; exercise classes, church services, crafts, bingo and many other activities!!

The staff and the meals here in Vista Prairie at Monarch Meadows are good. I have a lovely apartment and I'm allowed to have my dog here with me. It is a two-bedroom and I have a small patio behind my unit. We have a nice grass area out here that we can walk around on. Compared to the people I had in Arizona, the staff here is much younger and I get the impression that they're not as informed, but they're fine. They take care of us and give us medications. Because of our age, we don't have any outdoor facilities, but different things around Mankato are of interest to the residents here. We have things going on that we can do here, like bingo, exercise, and things to keep our minds busy.
Read moreI did not want to leave my home. It is okay being here. It is hard that people "get in my business." Staff is helpful and kind. Food has good days and bad days but generally satisfactory.
All in all pretty good.
