My father spent his final years at Waverly, it is a lovely spot. In particular, he received wonderful care from caretakers through Waverly Care. My low rating is in reference to the administration. The day after my dad died, they were at his villa, assessing the property and making sure I understood that we needed to be out of there in 30 days. The 30 days is standard, but the way they had groups showing up immediately after his passing, unannounced with no respect or graciousness around the fact my father had just passed was pretty awful. 5 months later when I followed up to find out about the payment for his villa, I spoke to somebody who was incredibly rude and short with me who informed me that it would be another 2 months. Ultimately, I know Waverly is a business, but I will never understand the need to be so unpleasant and aggressively rude. A little kindness can go a long way, but at the very least, if you can''t be kind, at leas manage respectful.Again, there are some amazing people there who I will be forever grateful but there is no excuse for the way the business office handles things.
