At 7:15 this morning I took my husband to the ER in Weirton due to a rupture of his belly button and a possible hernia rupture. He''s in so much pain, he''sin tears. There were NO cars in the parking lot and not one person in the waiting room. We waited 15 minutes for the triage nurse (Theresa) who was very rude and snapped at me upon telling her my husband had new insurance. At 10 am we were still waiting in the lobby. They brought an elderly lady in by ambulance, who was then wheeled into the lobby to wait. At 10:15 with a packed lobby and we still hadn''t been called back to be seen, we left. This is totally uncalled for. We will be going to another ER, if this turns out to be something serious, Weirton Hospital will be talking to my attorney.
