I came to West Suburban a year and half ago from sufferinga stroke. I''ve been home for 4 months. I came in flat on my back couldn''t walk or speak wearing diapers and couldn''t turn over so they could change me. Let me tell you the CNAs were caring, thoughtful and assisted each other to care for me. I had speech therapy and physical therapy. They worked very hard to heal me. Now I am walking with a walker (not in the house). I cook clean the house and bathe myself. My speech and memory have returned. I made a lot of friends that made me feel like family. They threw me a birthday party and going away party! The nursing staff were great as well. Yes, they had staffing and DON staffing issues but the ones who were there tried to hold it down. Thank you thank you Mayflor Brenda Barb Zaria Lali Pierre Gilbert Niesha Tara Katrina Lou(night spvsr Nurse) Andre and my roommate Princess Diane! I''m sure I''m forgetting lots of you but rest assured all of you were instrumental to my healing. Now I only gave 4 stars because of staff issues late meds and bad food. Just know I''m grateful to all of you. Be blessed!!

DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!! I put one star just so I can give this review We did not place my father here he was moved from one facility to this one, the staff is horrible they can never answer any questions they NEVER call back I’ve left messages for nurses, head of nursing Brenda & social worker James multiple times and never got a call back. I always had to follow back up. The facility is rundown, dingy and dirty. They do not respect my fathers basic needs such as putting socks and shoes on him. Many times family and myself visits he was walking around with urine on his pants. I believe they over medicate my father because he has aggressive dementia outburst at times, not all the time and to sedate him they give meds that may not be the best for his well being. They lost his shoes & dentures the dentures were 8/6 and STILL they haven’t gotten it fully resolved I’ve even called the dentist they work with which is mobile so they aren’t as attentive. Please do not send your loved one here.
