Holiday Whispering Chase had more than 100 residents, which we didn't like. The physical appearance of the place was really nice. It looked like there was a lot of room for activities, but we only saw some people playing cards. The building itself was relatively new and very attractive. The staff did a great job of giving us a tour of the place. Their meals were at set times: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dining room appeared nice and clean. They could have had some food for us to taste or a snack. Also, we could have seen more activities going on.

Holiday Whispering Chase was a very nice place. The facilities that were available seemed to meet the needs of the people that live there. There were things for them to do and groups for them to join. The dining room was very nice. They had a 1-bedroom that was smaller and another 1-bedroom that was a little bit larger. I'm very pleased with my tour. The person who gave the tour was very professional, very helpful, and seemed to have a great relationship with the people that were living there that we met along the way. I saw the dining area. I did not try any food, but the dining area seemed very pleasant. They had some construction going on in the family dining area because of some water damage that had happened, so they were redoing that. I saw a group that was playing cards. Other people were just sitting and enjoying the open spaces.

I had an in-person tour of Holiday Whispering Chase. The outside and inside appearances were very nice. It just seems a little old. The two people we talked to had only been there a couple of weeks, so I question their ability to hold on to the staff. Their timing for food was very limited. It's just for two hours, and you can't get in there after that. They only had two choices for dinner. When we were there, they happened to have an open room with music playing, and they do this every Friday. They offered us something to drink, like some Coke or Sprite. We just thought that was interesting. They can have people come in on your insurance to help deal with your problems. But there would be no one to help you in and out of bed, help you eat, or meet any other needs you might have, so it wouldn't work very well for me.
