I had placed my Uncle in Bear Mountain here in Andover back in July 2023 and knowing he had a Brain aneurysm I felt that this was close to home for myself and family members for him to have his quality of life extended as he was living alone and falling too many times. When my Uncle Russell came to Bear Mountain he instantly felt secure and knew that he would receive the care he needed. Everyone from the Administrator, Director of Nursing, Heidi (Business office), receptionist''s to nursing, house keepers, activities, rehab team, speech, social workers and even my department (Food Service) have all been a part of these wonderful months he has had that gave him time. His quality of life can only be measured by those that cared for him and Bear Mountain has done that and beyond for him. I am always on the side of caring for others because I’m in this field but to witness for me as having my Uncle here has been truly amazing journey. I appreciate all of you at Bear Mountain and don’t know how I can ever “Thank you” all for loving my Uncle Russell (Dennis) and for supporting me through this difficult journey. Marianne Zappala

It''s always difficult to put a loved one in a nursing home However we were very pleased with Bear Mountain. The staff was professional and welcoming and any worries we had were dismissed. The nurses were compassionate and answered any concerns we had. Even the food director introduced herself and assured us she would attend to the special diet my mother required. Bear Mountain is the best. Thank you for all your help in making this transition as easy as possible

The care provided is exceptional.The adminstator,DON as well as the ADON are hands on.The nurses,as well the CNA''s provided excellent care.Every department including Rehab Activities,Dietary, Social Services,Housekeeping and Maintenance work very hard.
