At Brookdale Ithaca, our Clare Bridge memory care program guides residents down a daily path of engagement to help them live each day with purpose and meaning. And located in Ithaca, New York, we’re nestled in a safe and cozy neighborhood but a short drive away from area parks, churches and retail outlets.

With memory care, our specialty-trained staff helps seniors nurture their current skills while also exploring various hobbies and opportunities for engagement. This includes research-backed activities like gentle fitness classes, arts and music events and brain-boosting games. We take a person-centered approach to care and are also here to help with things like bathing, dressing, dining and mobility management. And you can take comfort in knowing that our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.

Our community was designed from the ground up with your loved one in mind, with easy-to-navigate floors, soothing colors and safely enclosed outdoor spaces. You and your family have a selection of floor plans to choose from, each with large sunny windows, spacious living areas, closets and private bathrooms. We’re pet-friendly and welcome four-legged friends who will join you in our community. And in an effort to provide additional infection control measures to help protect against viral infection, we’ve installed an enhanced air purification system that serves common areas throughout our community.

Here we use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and create a sense of belonging. Our residents enjoy an award-winning dining program that includes dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance. We’ll also take care of the housework, cleaning and can help arrange transportation as needed. Additional amenities include an on-site salon, library, scenic walking paths, a whirlpool, community kitchen and fireside living room. And we have an array of exciting daily activities that our residents love partaking in – everything from daily guided walks to game nights and sing-alongs.
