My person living there is a hard case.. she does not leave her room, mostly does not leave her bed.. does not shower on a regular basis because she is cold..is very distrustful of the food and severely limits what she will eat..the staff tries hard to accommodate her. The place is smaller than most other places and the staff try hard to be accommodating of my friend's special needs. Initial outlay is costly..but you will get it back.. staff is friendly and helpful they try hard to make residents get involved.
Decatur House is a very nice place. They took very good care of my Mom while she was there. It was decorated like a Bed & Breakfast. I would highly recommend it.
