Deer Park is not a licensed nursing home and is not equipped to provide skilled nursing care on-campus. Their care services are strictly non-medical, designed for active, independent seniors who want a secure place to live. Residents are welcome to arrange skilled nursing care with a third-party care provider, but the Deer Parks senior community does not offer their own nursing care services. 

Additionally, Deer Park is not an assisted living facility. Their community offers services and amenities like housekeeping and apartment maintenance, but they do not provide direct personalized care. Instead, their dedicated staff members promote independence and self-sufficiency by assisting only as necessary. When residents trigger their emergency response cord, the staff are quick to assist, but typically, they do not provide personal care (like assistance with activities of daily living). This differs from assisted living residents at other senior living communities, who may have a set daily care routine. 

The same can be said for memory care at Deer Park: residents living with Alzheimer's and forms of dementia are welcome at Deer Park, but they are not a dedicated memory care community.
