Horrible place to keep your loved ones. Staff simply don''t care! They are rude and inefficient. I had to forward a concern from my brother ( inpatient)to the staff because they just don''t care to listen to the patients.

I give this place 2 stars only for some of the C.N.A''s and activity people who genuinely cared for my grandfather. I could give 0 stars to office staff for not not really assisting me with paperwork upon his release. Upon my grandfather''s release they did not describe to me the level of care he would need. I figured he was more independent. I am upset with doctors who over medicated him to the point he has drug induced Parkinson''s. I had to wean him off several medications. From the time he was admitted to his release, his mobility declined rapidly. My grandfather suffered a manic episode during his stay there only to have his medication increased to the point he only wanted to sleep all day. I did request that they give my grandfather information as to which medications he was on and that they let him know about his finances. Every time i called staff it seemed like a hassle. He wanted to give me some money at one point which took several months for them to send me a legit check. I emailed my concerns only to be pushed to the side.. They misplaced and lost his things including his dentures and glasses. They were not attentive to other patients walking in his room taking his belongings. My grandfather is a veteran and i received more help from the VA hospital than i did at this nursing facility. It saddens me that they did a lot of damage to my grandfather until i was able to care for him. I feel this facility should be investigated especially during covid. They have most patients in bed all day. Please keep track of your love ones medications, finances, and belongings if you send them to this facility. There are only a few here who really care. Mostly cnas'' who been there for years. When I did visit i noticed staff more on their phone than attending to their patients. I really wish i could of done more for my grandfather while he was there because being there affected his health greatly. If your loved may have a disease which causes them to act out please be aware of medications they give them. Some of These medications are very strong and cause a lot more side effects. Most nursing homes don''t want people too active because they don''t want to be responsible for falls. My grandfather experienced falls as well. One in which caused injury to his back. He says he woke early to shower and had an fall. I''m wondering where staff was at that time also. I am just so upset with this facility. Please be on top of the care your family receives I feel for the ones who don''t have anyone, i can only imagine the type of care they receive. I did notice favoritism at this facility as well. Staff who pick and choose to give quality care to. Some of the people there were rude as well. I think they wanted him released as soon as they could before there was a complaint. He really got tired of being there..before his medication increase he was very vocal about what bothered him. They changed him soo much its sad. They can''t give me back my grandpa the way he was before the damage. Shame on this facility.
