I like the rehabilitation side.As far as the nursing home side the nurses seem to be really nice however they are there to do a job and get paid to care for our loved ones! So they need to step up their care. My Father has been there for sometime and every time his clothes we brought are gone so we have to continue to bring him clothes we’ve called several times about this problem all they do is bring him someone else’s. So on to the care part they charge to do his hair and face which isn’t done and they have cut half his eye brows, the bed is never clean and every time we go we have to change him because he sits in few day old diaper which is just cruel they need to do a better job checking patients. Dont get wrong I understand there are a lot of patients not sure if they need more nurses or what . The other day I was informed that they had Covid after 2 hr drive I was very upset so as I’m talking to a nurse about blood test results I hear a someone yell “Has anyone called 911 it’s been over 5 minutes and Nobody has resuscitated yet” I’m like WTH what can I say death is a part of life but really they know it was over 5 minutes yet nobody called. Also aren’t nurses CPR certified?? Then there was a man who was vomiting a nurse did wipe him down so I went to my Dad of course I had to shave him and wash him up but I couldn’t get him out the bed to change his sheets. This time I had to clean the bathroom due to fecal matter all over the seat. When I left I seen the man hunched over his face in the vomit just sitting there. That was a bad day. Office part Love the ladies and have only had it out with the rude Social worker! One more thing is my Dad has only claimed that have grabbed his arms a few times and they are rough with him when they try to help him up YES I have checked for bruises yes he had them on his lower forearm and upper it looked like strong finger marks. I just think the need training on how to pick the patient up. If you do have to send your loved ones there just make sure you able to visit frequently because I live far and so does my other sister. so we rotate. If your local and can frequent to help out your loved one please do. Our loved ones deserve to be taken care of! They spent a lifetime taken care of us.

I have to admit that a majority of the staff are wonderful. However, it’s mostly the business side that makes the whole process frustrating. I never get a response to messages or emails. Except for Esmerelda (she’s amazing at her job) The only response I seem to get is “we’ll look into it and get back to you. It’s very frustrating to see your parent literally withering away and having to deal with worrying all the time does not help the situation. No matter who I reach out to, I just end up circling back to where I started. Every time I ask who owned this place I’m just told it’s a board of directors. Never a number or email or information on how to contact anyone. So frustrating.

My friends mother is there now w/2broken hips etc. They have pads beneath her and when she uses bathroom,shes ignored for hours to lay in poo n pee. Were looking for better place now.No body should be treated like that.
