We chose Splendor Valley for my mother. They'll do anything she wants to do. They take really good care of her. I've gone to see her several times, and I've been very happy with it. This is a small house with, I think, 6 people. And they have caretakers and the owners, Mark and Mariss...
We chose Splendor Valley for my mother. They'll do anything she wants to do. They take really good care of her. I've gone to see her several times, and I've been very happy with it. This is a small house with, I think, 6 people. And they have caretakers and the owners, Mark and Marissa, live on-site. So, there's always a lot of people around. They get her dressed and she goes and sits in the family room combination kitchen. She always gets to watch people, which is what she likes. Other people have families come and go, and she just gets to see everything. They get her up, they help her shower and get dressed. They give her her meals and her medication. They do everything for her. The place is very, very nice. They have a gazebo where she can go outside. And if she has guests, you can sit outside with her. I looked at a lot of places, and this is by far the nicest. She just has a small room. It does have a door that she can open out to the gazebo, which is very nice. She has her La-Z-Boy chair and her hospital bed. She has her large TV, but she likes to go watch TV out in the family room. There's another lady that sits out there and watches TV with her.

I toured Splendor Valley. They were incredible for that type of service. It's not exactly what we need but they were amazing. The facilities were immaculate and secure. The residents were well cared for. The owners were super attentive, informative, and extremely professional. They have a beautiful walking garden in front and back. It's picturesque, suburban, and quiet. The rooms were on the smaller side but very clean. If I needed a board and care for my mother, that's where I would put her.

I moved my Mother into the Splendor Valley LTC in February of this year (2020). The board and care home at which she was living had a change of ownership and went into rapid decline. The decision to move her to Splendor Valley proved to be a wise one. [names removed] and staff worked as a team to provide my Mother with excellent, compassionate care. You could sense by how my Mother smiled at each of them that she felt trust, at peace, and content in her new home. It wasn’t long before the pandemic put a stop to my daily visits, and [name removed] was so helpful in helping our family stay in touch via Zoom. Although stressful to not be able to visit my Mom in person, I knew I could depend on [name removed] to phone me with any concerns, and to keep me informed of my Mother’s health status as her life neared its end. I always felt that my Mother was treated with dignity and love. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with the folks at Splendor Valley LTC. Mom's every need is well attended to and I am kept apprised of any changes in Mom's status no matter how small it may be. Meals are well prepared. Mom is always clean and well dressed.
