If you really love your mom or dad or grandma or grandpa, do not take them to that nursing home! I stopped by for lunch or dinner or lunch and dinner almost every day to assure the care of my mother. If you really love your mom or dad or grandma or grandpa, do not take them to that nursing home! I stopped by for lunch or dinner or lunch and dinner almost every day to assure the care of my mother. It was the most horrible thing I have ever experienced in my life! The neglect is unreal! The neglect is so horrible it’s practically abuse!!! I call this place the house of death not a nursing home! It is not even worth one star!!!! They constantly doped my mom so they didn’t have to deal with her. At the end they doped her with morphine for seven days until she starved to death in her bed!!! The place should burn to the ground!!! And the people running the place should be imprisoned for life!!

Our dad was at Ivy for the last 3 years. We just lost him to a long battle of dementia. We cannot put into words how happy we are to have had him at Ivy in Deerlodge. Immediately after entering Ivy- our dad began gaining weight, and became healthier. There are daily activities, good meals, snacks, a big, loud TV (for the hard-of hearing). Every Ivy person we were in contact with was amazing. Frequent phone calls to make sure we knew what was going on- including an automated phone call during Covid to keep everyone updated. Their Covid protocols were very strict, and we were happy they were very serious about keeping all their residents safe. Even at the funeral (in a different Montana town)- many nurses came and paid their respects. You could tell they really cared, they were crying as much as we were. We underwent Hospice care, and that was very helpful. Ivy and Hospice seemed to work together very well. Anyway, we can''t thank Ivy enough for being such a great place. It wasn''t a great situation- but they are amazing at what they do, and we appreciate all of them. Thanks, Jimmy and Angie
