My Mom lived in this place for over 2 years. She has Alzheimer's but was in fairly early stage. The couple that owns this business lied about everything when we signed the lease, including the fact that they aren't certified for memory care. They said there were activities every day and there was absolutely 0 activities. I visited about 5 times a week so I saw plenty. They let them lay in bed all day except for meals that were very unbalanced. The major problem is they could never administer the medication properly or train anyone to do it properly. There is one caretaker and there was a new one from out of state at least once a month. They either quit or were fired for telling me things. When I continued to complain about the medication being off they banned me from coming there. I would pick my Mom up and take her to my house as much as I could. After about 18 months she was the only tenant. One day they called my sister and said she was choking on her medication at lunch so they crushed it up and gave it to her. Her tongue was swollen and she couldn't talk. They waited 5 hours to render aid and we insisted they call an ambulance. She almost died. She was in the hospital and than rehab for over 2 months. We paid her rent the entire time and they wouldn't let me come in and get any clothes or shoes for her. When she recovered we were afraid to take her back there and when we told them, the lease was already up and it was the 2nd day of the month. They said we owed them another months rent for not giving them 30 days notice. We didn't have it because we spent the money putting her in a new place. They kept all her belongs, tons of jewelry, all her clothes, collections, tv, bed, misc furniture and all family photos. They put it in storage and wouldn't tell us where. Eventually they sold it all. Everything she owned was with her and we had to buy her all new clothes. Everything else was not replaceable. Everything they say is a lie. Please don't put your loved one there, I beg you!
