Everyone, from the front office to the housekeepers and of course the Nurses are absolutely dedicated to their job both professionally & also you can genuinely feel their attention, care and love to their residents. It very much feels like one big happy family with consistently stellar service and genuinely kind, positive & welcoming vibes to the family members of residents like myself that visit almost daily. The Oakmont of Santa Clarita was lovely. The amenities were very nice. The atmosphere was very positive. It was very clean. The residents were very active. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I think it's a beautiful location.
My mother-in-law was in Oakmont of Santa Clarita for three months. We thought it was excellent. However, it didn't work. She didn't like it, so she went back home. We thought it was great. She didn't appreciate the activities, she's a solitary person. They do exercises. They pain...
My mother-in-law was in Oakmont of Santa Clarita for three months. We thought it was excellent. However, it didn't work. She didn't like it, so she went back home. We thought it was great. She didn't appreciate the activities, she's a solitary person. They do exercises. They paint. They do crafts. They had a very good entertainment director. The food was very good. The staff was excellent. It was very welcoming. It's well-run, and they have lots of options. You can get physical therapy done right there. It's a pretty new facility.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is a very vibrant community and a nice place for the people who live there. I'm there visiting all the time so I do get to speak to the staff in person about any issues or updates. in addition to that, they send out a monthly newsletter via email that highlights the activities for the month, amongst other things. they are definitely not over staffed, I would say there's just enough staff for the amount of residents. they do offer transportation to appointments and stores, and it is included in the monthly cost. overall I especially like the assurance of knowing its a safe environment and they seem very caring.
