Super shady business. Home is owned by one company and managed by another - but both companies are owned by the same family. This lets them dodge liability for resident accidents due to shoddy care by the staff.

Wow! Don''t let the older building fool you. My mom recently was discharged from a local hospital to Rock Haven Nursing Home for End of Life Care. The staff did an amazing job of caring for her. Because of COVID-19, visiting requirements are strict. Frequent testing is required, but can be obtained at the location, and a limited number of guests are allowed in. I applaud administration for creating such a strong plan to protect our weakest citizens. Every time I visited, my mom was clean and well cared for. The staff(including maintenance, house keeping, CNAs, and nurses) showed respect for mom and our family at every contact. A special thank you to Teri and Kelly for helping us navigate the admission process. We were contacted when there were any changes in Mom''s condition. When Mom''s death was imminent, we were allowed to stay with her. During the next day and a half, I observed the team perform their duties. Mom was immobile, but a pair of staff would come in, like clockwork, every two hours to check her for cleanliness and to reposition her to prevent bed sores. I didn''t get to meet all of her nurses, but during the last day and a half I observed the care given by Jackie, "T", and Molly. Each of these nurses were knowledgeable and professional, and I offer a special thank you to each of you for your care during Mom''s most difficult times.
