Do not put your relative in the Bristol memory care/reflections at East Meadow. They basically warehouse them there. out of bed in the morning and sit them in the common area for a few hours, move them to the TV area, then back to the common area. They take away their walkers and lock their rooms so they are basically stuck to sitting between 2 areas all day. Its terrible. If you hate your relative put them there. My parent was being over medicated and could not keep her eyes open during the day. When I asked their doctor to spell out the medications she was on his reply was "Don''t go googling them, your not the doctor, I''m the doctor". Disgusting and disgusted.

Daphne the Reflections director at the East Meadow Bristal is unbelievably rude. I had questions about the Bristals memory care for my mother and I could hear her attitude through the phone. She was also very dismissive and most questions I asked her only reply was “I don’t know” I don’t really think she’s fit to be the reflections director.

My Dad has been at the Bristal in East Meadow for about a year (during the pandemic). I cannot say enough how smoothly and efficiently the move was. My siblings and I were a little apprehensive at first about how he would handle living in an assisted living facility. The staff were very attentive to his needs from minute one. He has made many friends and is constantly engaged. We''re happy because he''s happy and thriving. Abdul and Gina have been a delight to work with and have been so accommodating. Can''t say enough amazing things about the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!!
