This place is TERRIBLE! My dad was sent there for rehab after being hospitalized with pneumonia. They never read his file to see that he was bedridden and very weak from being sick and could barely get himself. He would have never eaten or had water off my mother hadn’t been there from morning to evening every day. PT was a joke and didn’t care if he ever walked again spending very little time helping him. He contracted CDiff AND Covid over his 21 day stay. The room was hot, dirty and smelled! He sat in a soiled bed for hours at a time even though my mother asked for someone to clean him repeatedly. He had gotten 3 bedsores . At 21 days he was still bedridden and not doing well at all. My mother at that point decided to bring him home and pay for home care as anything would have been better than keeping him there. There is also a huge turnover in employees as I understand a new Administration was brought in that is horrible to work for which forced good long term employees to leave. If I could give this place a lower review I would. If you want your loved one taken care of I would recommend not sending them here!

I have been employed by the laurels for over 4 years, I recently had a baby and was on leave they got new administration right before I left…. They are useless they don’t help they don’t communicate. All they do is let there good employees go or fire them they are going to be sorry. They don’t have many employees that have been there for years… they are all new and they only are there for the sign on bonus that they probably won’t get. Then they will be gone like the rest. All I can say is save your family members while you can because it wont be long before they have no staff……… *the only reason they have all the five start reviews the past couple weeks is because they had a “ five star review contest” and whoever got the got put in for a drawing for a new tv* THE PLACE IS A JOKE!
